Freeview reception at HX1 5TH

For reliable and stable Freeview reception, you need an unobstructed path between the TV aerial on your roof and the digital TV transmitter. The map below shows the transmitters predicted to provide a signal at this location.

You can click on any transmitter symbol to show the coverage area as a green overlay on the map. Double click on a transmitter symbol to go to the transmitter information page.

You can also view the ten closest potential '4G-at-800' mobile phone masts within 1.5km of the selected location - these masts may be used for 4G-at-800 mobile broadband services from 2013-2015.

Jon: There are lots of boxes around now, although I havn't heard of this one. Looks interesting, and for people with dishes, it looks like an easy setup (although I'm not sure which one records as well).

But if you have wifi (or even just broadband), you can do much the same for less money (although having sat. and aerial tuners is a nice touch).

A £50 blu-ray will be as smart as any TV, and in the case of Samsung's (at least at present), you'll get all four channels on demand, Netflix, etc. This one Samsung BD-F6500 Smart 3D Blu-ray/DVD Player: Amazon.co.uk: TV has wifi built in.

There is always things like Roku, Apple TV, etc. If you just want Iplayer, the Sky Now TV box is less than £15! You might not even have to create an account.

Thanks for the heads up, and I'm now going to have to find a review!

I live in the UK and I am again troubled by Fininvest channels. It happened first time few years ago' but, at that time it was easy to sort out as we had to search for Canale 5 in CAPITALS (CANALE 5).
I have been doing the same search for days now, no sign of fininvest on my satellite channels scan. Really annoyed

I live in NE43 7LH and for the last week we have had an intermittent problem with freeview. We had no signal at all on Friday night but it was fine all day yesterday and this morning. However we have now lost it again. Our aerial is in the loft. Any ideas please?
