East Riding Yorkshire Council are rubbish, I assumed that the Radio socket on the communal terrestrial aerial was working but all I got where clicks and pops. I bought a powered Philex indoor aerial and it seems to do the job. I bought a Tibo TI-435 DAB reciever very nice for the money brushed metal. It has 9 presets for DAB too. I get Absolute and Virgin in perfect quality which is all the music channels im interested in and BBC R5L R5LX and Talksport 1+2 for the sports commentary when Im running my russian pirate streams. Previously I was using a portable Kitsound Pixel radio which I got 3 for a fiver each but it got to be a pain moving it around and it suffered from electrical interference. I had sky for Absolute and 5L and Talksport but now I can go fully on all of them on DAB I live in Withernsea. Whats the Tibo Amp like and can anyone recommend a pair of speakers.

an antenna located or a nearby town that we might
benefit from, thanks

Ian Crabb: The Sudbury transmitter broadcasts the BBC National, D1 National and Essex local DAB multiplexes. If you provide a full postcode you will be able to see a prediction of which DAB stations are predicted to be available at your location.

Why has my DAB signal lost strength over the last month? I have had a DAB radio in my car for the last 4 years the reception has been good. Since the beginning of June I lose the signal every day during my normal commute between the NR24 and NR25 postcodes. Is the local DAB antenna not working? Please help it's really frustrating.

The map does not show any DAB transmitters in South Wales. This cannot be correct, surely!
I live in Usk and DAB reception is almost none existent.
Are there any plans to add DAB transmissions to the Usk repeater aerial?

Can you tell me what the quality of the DAB radio signal is in Ipswich Suffolk IP9. I listen to Town 102 on FM but they are switching totally to DAB this month. I can receive Town 102 satisfactorily in stereo on FM, but on DAB they broadcast on 213.36Mhz, and I can only receive a mono reception @ 80kbps. My radio indicates a 100% signal strength.
Is the reception of Town 102 broadcast from the Cambridge transmitter? and is Ipswich on the limits for good quality signal reception ?

Bruce Pickess: If you are getting 100% signal strength then you have as strong a signal as your radio can handle and you certainly aren't on the edge of the coverage area. Whether a station is available in mono or stereo on DAB is down to how much capacity the station's owner is prepared to pay for and has nothing to do with signal strength or how far you are from the transmitter.
