Cv5 9hu I understand the concept of Freeview lite, just hoping I can get to Sutton coalfield on a wider band aerial...

Dave: Yes, you can get signals direct from Sutton Coldfield, you will need a group B or wideband aerial to get the signal and the aerial will need to be horizontal rather than vertical. The transmitter is northwest 319° from your location.

I receive from the Allesley Park Transmitter, which only tramsmits Muxs 1, 2 & B from abut a mile away.
1. Is there any chance of of the other three Muxs being transmitted from this transmitter?
2. Is there any possibility of receiving from the Sutton Coldfield transmitter which is about 20 miles away?

paul davies: You need a group B or wideband aerial pointing at the Sutton Coldfield transmitter - you might have to mount the aerial up quite high to deal with the terrain between you and the mast with all the channels on it.
