Margaret: Being able to watch iPlayer or Amazon over the internet doesn't prove that there is no problem with your system which has nothing to do with wifi. Please provide a full postcode so that we can see your predicted coverage at your location.

ANNE DUNNION: Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? Please provide a full postcode so that we can see which you're using, where you are in relation to it and your predicted coverage etc. Do not attempt to retune.

D: At 17km away an indoor might work, but most of them consist of little more than a piece of wire sticking out of an and only work well if you have a strong . The better ones usually look like a smaller version of a aerial but there is still no guarantee of getting a good signal.

Since yesterday my tv is saying the is not receiving a or the signal is too weak! I even went today and bought a new aerial but that hasn't helped. I've been in my new house now 2 months and this is the first time I've had problems. My downstairs tv is only finding 40 channels and when they come on they are pixelated and jumping??

Lindsay: what's your location? Put your postcode into the site when you post a reply, and that should give people an idea of what you should be getting. Next, check your system - if your is too weak, then it's your system, unless you are in an area which is marginal.

Mike when I put my postcode into the coverage checker it's saying not found' cos I've just moved into a new built estate....my location is Chapelhall and as I said I've been in my home now 2 months with all the same aerials working absolutely fine but woke up yesterday to the a black screen saying about not receiving a or weak signal and the channels I am getting are full of . I've contacted the makers of my recordable box who suggested a factory reset but no change and I've also contacted the council to see if it's a reportable issue.

MikeP my postcode is not being recognised as it's a new estate, I've already tried putting it into the checker! Chapelhall is in North Lanarkshire which says there's no problems with the ....I've had no problems for the 2 months I've been here, just happened all of a sudden....my postcode is ML68GW, I'm at a loss on what else to try.

Please post a question, answer or commentIf you have Freeview reception problems before posting a question your must first do this Freeview reset procedure then see: Freeview reception has changed, Single frequency interference, and Freeview intermittent interference.

If you have no satellite signal, see Sky Digibox says 'No Signal' or 'Technical fault'

If you have other problems, please provide a full (not partial) postcode (or preferably enter it in box at the top right) and indicate where if aerial is on the roof, in the loft or elsewhere.
