today i have no signals. i have two aerials, an analogue aerial pointed at bolehill and i live in bolehill. and an upgraded aerial pointed at sutton coldfield. the reception from sutton is very weather dependant and with all the rain and cloud today i have no digital signals. also if i plug in the bolehill aerial to my digi box and retune i still have no signals, any ideas?

For all those who have signal boosters. I found that my old booster was not able to carry the extra quality needed for digital signals. As soon as I replaced it with an approved digital booster everything worked fine!

Diana: The likely answer is that Bolehill will never broadcast these services. See here for an explanation:

However, a look at the Digital UK predictor suggests that you can might be able to receive from Sutton Coldfield which carries these extra channels.
If you can get Sutton Coldfield, then you could have a second aerial installed for it for the commercial channels. You would continue to use Bolehill so as to get the correct regional programming (assuming that this is of interest to you).
