Living in Kingswinford and receiving my signal fromBrierley Hiil after retuning my Humax box I cannot now receive BBC programmes other than on channels 800 &801. Although the box shows a signal strength for both BBC1 & BBC2 on channels 1 & 2 there is no "Quality" strength shown. Is there something wrong at my end?

michael bridgwater: Yes, you must do a "first time install" on your box, and not just an "add channels". See Switchover starts in 4 million homes in Yorkshire, West Midlands 7th September | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice please.

I went to "Menu" & "Installation" and did a complete Automatic Search finding 146 TV channels. I did not manually try to add channels

michael bridgwater: That doesn't sound right. You need to do the type of search that first erases everything. If you can't see it, do what you have done already with the aerial out first, and then do it again with the aerial back in the box.

Today after the 7th September 2011 and after retuning my pictures on 1, 2,3,4,5 etc. are all a lot more clear and crisp. I have gone through my DVD, DVB, and freesat and checked all the signal strength on all of them. On the DVB, the HDMI signal is showing poor in red and yellow, and fluctuating between them both. I feel they should all be in green. However, the picture is crisp and great. Why are they in Red/Yellow? Can anybody help please? Paul
