This transmitter does not work as well as it did(no ITV3 of Drama and others, think its channel 44),since the M5 Highways England improvement works to convert to all lanes running commenced last year, it maybe coincidence but the erection of new gantries and signals over a 16 mile stretch of carriageway cant be helping the transmission quality with the M5 proximity to the transmitter structure. If however they are working on it why has it not been publicised

Mark Cowmeadow: Motorway gantries aren't going to affect reception unless they are directly in line between your aerial and the transmitter. It is far more likely that your aerial system has deteriorated rather than there being anything wrong with the transmitter. The last engineering notification for Bromsgrove transmitter was back in October so there hasn't been any work taking place since then.
