Jemma: I don't know whether you know, but there have been power failures in the area over the last few days due to the weather.
This report, posted at 0721 this morning, says that power has been restored to all affected areas in Derbyshire:

Have called the Derby number, they do not know when it will be back on. Lady seemed surprised there was a fault. She offered to ask engineer but we got cut off and when I rang back she said they hadn't been notified when it will be back on.
