We're not having any free to air channels on the tv or the BT you view box I have contacted BT there is no issues with them tried the aerial direct into the tv and tune I'm having nothing from Chanel 1 to 11 plunged the antenna back into the BT box retuned that is the same missing channel 1 to 11 any ideas if there is an issue at the Arqiva site at Carmel, Carmarthenshire

Hefin: There are no faults showing for Carmel. Retuning was the worst thing to do as it will never fix a sudden loss of signal and you've now deleted your correctly tuned channels. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? Please provide a full postcode so that we can see where you are in relation to the transmitter and your predicted signal strength etc.

Hefin, it would indeed appear that the problem is within your system. Check all the cables and connections, then do an auto-retune. BUT remember Carmel will change channels to 23-26-29-33-36-48 on Monday 30th September. Another auto-retune should give you all the Carmel channels. If not all come up,
you may need to perform a manual retune of each of these new channels. Depending on your location you
might get interference from the Ilfracombe relay, which uses three of the same channels...

Michael:
Hi Michael, not sure what you looked at, but Carmel is already using those channels. According to DigitalUK there aren't any further planned changes at Carmel.
Hefin:
As has already been said, we can't find any sign of any reported transmitter faults at Carmel but Arqiva don't always give relevant information for the commercial multiplexes!
I would try a full factory reset for your TV and YouView box, or unplug the aerial and do an automatic tune to clear all the previous tuning and then plug the aerial back in and do a manual tune for those UHF channels mentioned in Michael's post.

I think I posted old published dates for the Carmel retune. Sorry!
They all come through strongly on the North Devon coast.
