As of today June 1 I can no longer receive BBC programmes, especially BBC1 and BBC2. I understand that they were transmitted on C33 and should now be transmitted on C27. On my Toshiba TV it detects no signals on C33 OR C27.
Toshiba itself is no help (number discontinued) on their website. We use the Craigkelly transmitter. I have retuned umpteen times including a factory reset and a manual retune and can receive every other station (including many I do not want) but not the BBC ones.

Stephen Massie: Check that your receiver is not on the list of equipment that does not support the 8k mode. If it is listed you will need to use a freeview box to receive post switchover channels. If you have amplification on your signal it might now be too strong on C27. Reducing the gain, removing the amplifier or using an attenuator would offer solutions in this case.

Lost all BBC channels since yesterday evening. Both digital televisions.
What do I do?

Robert: You must do a "first time installation" now, due to the first stage of switchover, and do the same on Wednesday 15th June 2011.

After retuning (reset),I am receiving poor or interrupted, sometime zero, services from STV and channel 4. All BBC programmes are received well. After 15th June retune, will the signal levels for STV and Channel 4 improve?

Hi Briantist, it's a pci card which slots inside my computer - it's a Compro T750. BBC1, 2 and alot of the day on a few days ago BBC 24 hours news were all getting good reception 2 or 3 days ago. So I'm wondering if either I'm not getting the same sort of reception, or something technical has happened.

glb37: I can't recall a PCI card that doesn't support the 8k transmission mode.
Perhaps your signal is now too strong. If you have an amplifier, try removing it.

Hi, yes, this pci card is compatable with 8k mode.
With a free different software I get BBC now. But with the original Compro software strangely it does not find BBC. It did 3 days ago fine and stable for a long time. I even reinstalled Compro totally and restarted, but BBC is not available.
