Someone somewhere is telling porkies.
I use the Hemel which comes off and like others posting we have intermittent problems at the moment. strength is generally holding up, then the actual program just breaks up before returning to normal.
This suggests the transmission link(s) are already starting to fail. No problem at the moment as is still working well.
It should be great fun when the analogue gets turned off - still, not much worth watching anyway, what a waste of radio spectrum!!
Please don't say it's all OK or I might be tempted to cry!

I used the link in your response to my question about Crystal Palce and an out of band frequency (43). What is happening to all the starred frequencies that are in use before the switch over ? What is wrong with using them after the switch ?

I live in KT7 & use (so far as I know) the . TV is Panasonic with inbuilt Freeview box. about 18 months old. TV has a strength & condition indicator. On all the strength is always fine, but intermittently on some channels (normally including ITV 1 & ) the condition indicator goes into the red or fluctuates between red & low orange.

When that happens there is intermittent break up of & sound. I also have a Humax PVR & the break up on the recordings is far worse than on the TV picture.

I have checked all the things you mention for intermittent problems & none apply (making sure all motors etc. are switched off does not alter the condition). This evening (7 Feb.) the problem was severe from 7.30 or before up to about 9.30, when suddenly - without anything being done at my end - the condition indicator improved to high orange/green.

I find this infuriating. I can't see that it can be anything to do with other equipment in the house. Have you any ideas as to what might please?

I live in post code TN9 2NN - I live on a hill and hense have to have my tv from Chrysal Palance. resently i lost all of my TV. I have my analogue. I get my digital tv though my digital recorded. in the last few days i have re-tuned my tv several times and have managed to get back BBC4, some radio and a children's program. I used the text page on my anaglogue to check the areral and that appeared from my untrained eues to be ok. can you give any suggestions why I am not now getting digital.

If you have no satellite signal, see Sky Digibox says 'No Signal' or 'Technical fault'

If you have other problems, please provide a full (not partial) postcode (or preferably enter it in box at the top right) and indicate where if aerial is on the roof, in the loft or elsewhere.
