BRIANTIST, sorry to say, even tho there are no reported problems, there are, people are having problems in all area's. I'm in chelmsford, essex. Freeview has been intermittent all day, from this morning but generally when the reception was lost, it came back quite quickly.
Ive now been without any form of picture on either digital or analog for about 40mins+
mind you as i just typed that ITV came back with a clear picture, how long it will last for tho is anyones guess.

Sazza: Reception problems are very rarely caused by transmission faults. I would see Freeview reception has changed? | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice to help fix YOUR reception problem.

Around 10pm the mux on channel 29 reported strength 60 quality 30,20 and even 10. The other muxes were ok. Around midnight this rectified itself but the mux on channel 22 did the same for an hour or so. The other muxes were ok. Later my recording of the apprentice on the bbc one hd suffered from low quality so that it eventually stopped. There definitely was a problem as the two people above reported.

I would say it would be unlikely to have the same atmospheric conditions for inversion effects simultaneously in high wycombe , chelmsford, and west malling.
