Paul Rice:

Further to that said by Amanda Hughenkis, look at the blue digitaluk trade box under your posting. That leads you to Coverage Checker - Detailed View which shows you are 7 km away from the Divis transmitter. Please ensure that your signal strength is between 60% and 85%, more will cause your problems.

david: Keep It Country is on the COM7 multiplex which is not broadcast from Limavady.

Deirdre Kearney: Retuning is the worst thing to do if your channels disappear and is never recommended unless you have eliminated all other possible causes of the problem.

Carl READE:

Because they are the channels used to transmit the COM7 and COM8 multiplexes. Arqiva, who own and operate the transmitters, are providing some additional services on channels 55 and 56 on some of the main transmitters only. They are a temporary service whilst further frequency changes are being made to free up the 700 MHz band.

Hi!

I reside in Belfast and my question relates to changes due to COM7 HD and COM8 HD. Currently I receive COM7 HD on UHF 33 and COM8 HD on UHF 34. There is a retune event due for both COM7 HD and COM8 HD on the 4th September 2019. This retune will move COM7 HD currently on UHF 33 to UHF 51 and COM8 HD currently on UHF 34 to UHF 60. A further retune event is planned for the period January to March 2020. In this retune COM7 HD will move to UHF 55 and COM8 HD to UHF 56. My interest in these retunes is; I currently receive Saorview from the RTE transmitter located Clermont Carn in North Co. Louth. They currently use two Multiplexes and they transmit on UHF 52 and UHF 56. Does anyone on UKFreeTV know what will happen to Saorview at the retune planned for the period January to March 2020?
