I'm afraid there are quite a few listings on this site that are not up-to-date as the site owner had not had time to keep up with all the 700MHz Clearance changes, never mind broadcasters swapping their channels about!

Smithsonian channel 57 keeps disappearing last night thurs 28 at 23:00 & maybe befor. Also prev Thurs.
Anything going on or are your engineers fiddling unofficially?

Smithsonian is on the ArqA multiplex, see Channel listings | Freeview
Check you are tuned to the correct UHF channel C36 at Emley for this multiplex.
I assume since the last of the 700MHz Clearance retunes on the 5th Feb., you have a Group T or Wideband aerial.
I can't find any faults currently listed (it's not "our" engineers btw, this is an independent help site) other than that there is some "Tropospheric Ducting" around at present which may result in interference in some parts of the country, see -

Yes I was a bit behind there as COM7 and COM8 have gone today now anyway :-D
I'll miss Now 80s, even though it broke up all the time, presumably due to mobile interference from Sheffield.
For anyone else interested the changes not reflected in the table as of now, these are COM4/SDN moved to Ch33 and COM5/ArqA moved to Ch36 (Feb 20).
Looking forward to the extra channels in the future when DVB-T phased out, shame it takes so long.

My post Wednesday, 22 April 2020 on p219 lists all the current UHF channels for Emley, except of course COM8 is closing. COM7 is still there with Now 80s on C55. If you are not picking it up, try a manual tune on C55, there's some variable "tropo" around which my cause periodic interference!

Just in case anyone misses it - a reminder that since the 700MHz clearance retune, and Arqiva's decision to close COM8 for commercial reasons -
Emley's Multiplexes & UHF channels are now as follows, in the order -
PSBs1/BBCA, PSB2/D3&4, PSB3/BBCB HD, COM4/SDN, COM5/ArqA, COM6/ArqB, COM7 HD, & Local
C47, C44, C41, C33, C36, C48, C55, & C39.
Whether you get satisfactory reception of COM7 or the Local multiplexes will depend on location.
