Hi, this seems a really comprehensive site but I still need. I live in the ST13 area which I think gets a relayed from . We had what I thought was full yesterday, but from what I can decipher we don't get multiplexes com 4,5&6 so don't get channels such as Dave etc.
There is nothing noted for after 21st Sept 2011, so is this as much as we will get in this area or is there somekind of final boost to give us all the channels in the future? Thanks in advance

I have humax pvr which is 2 years old. Recently did update of all and now I can.t get a good bbc . All itv is ok. We live in nortt but humax tries to tune to yorkshire. Any ideas?

P Costello: Your box has most likely picked up and stored which uses lower channel numbers, appearing to be the covering your area.

Take the out and carry out a without it, this to blank out the EPG memory, then BEFORE re-connecting the aerial carry out another auto-tune whilst at the same time observing the rising in the progress bar, then as soon as you see then getting to Ch52 plug the aerial back in again and that will allow Winter Hill to load.

Any problem with this method will require you to manually tune the channels in.

SB: If you are anywhere near the ST13 7.. area, then presently indicates as being a possibility, in November, although Winter Hill is the best of the two.

But of course this is entirely dependant on local conditions applying, as predictors cannot really cater properly for this sort of thing.

SB: Using ST13 5DR as a nominal post code, coverage is possible from both and the local .
DUK's postcode predictor shows that you can't receive the COM MUXs from Fenton - this is because they are co- with Fenton's PSB MUXs (which makes of Fenton non-ideal, hence orange colour on DUK trade view).
Reception from Leek PSBs is shown as good (but no COM MUXs transmitted from there).
Your may be able to indicate the UHF channel numbers you are receiving at present (Fenton: 24 & 27, Leek: 25, 22 for BBC A & D3&4 respectively).
shows all green, but would depend on your location in Leek, and you'd need a horizontally polarised aerial (Group B or ) pointing slightly east of south.
