Andrew: That would suggest something common to the two: perhaps a power failure again.
Putting the transmitter's postcode, SK13 7QJ, into
Electricity North West
says "No current fault detected" at the moment.

Thanks Dave.
O2 3G is back as well now, though it didn't come back at the same time as the Freeview. Maybe something with that takes longer to "reboot" :)

No freeview signal again. This is happening a lot recently. Is there an issue with the TV mast for Glossop?

Nicola: Radio & TV Investigation report no fault and ENWL report no power outage.
BTW, you may be able to receive all channels directly from Winter Hill. This would require a different aerial.

If anyone wants an aerial upgrade, DERBYSHIRE VISION from Glossop are the people to do it! Professional service and decent prices.
You don't have to be stuck on the local transmitter as in certain areas you are able to get Winter Hill, even though the postcode checker says you can't. We know as we have tested many areas and located signals in awkward places.

So when will Glossop actually get a DAB signal? We're listed on the BBC National DAB Network Coverage Expansion Plan as an additional site to achieve the 97% coverage, but there is no expected date.
