Can anone help, please ? I am at my wit's end with poor freeview reception on ITV 1, 2 &3, Channels 4&5, and QVC, all transmitted from Hannington. BBC and most other programmes are perfect, but those ITV listed
programmes suffer from spells of picture break-up or no signal. The high-gain aerial was newly fitted (by a professional)about six months ago to counteract similar problems - after installation all seemed fine, but over the Christmas period the problems have returned, and are even worse. I have re-tuned on countless occasions, and replaced the Scart lead from Humax PVR 9200T - the interference is present on both Panasonic TH-42PX7B operating "stand-alone" or through the Humax. Oh, by the way, on those affected channels which have an analogue signal, that signal is not degraded. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Our location is SO24 0AL.

Hiya. I too am having problems getting ITV 1,2 & 3, Channels 4 and 5. It was working OK yesterday but has come up with a weak or no signal eror. I have retuned on several TVs and they a drastically reduced number of available channels - ie 32 instead of 106 listed previously. I'm in SP11 area

Paul, where you live is a notoriously bad area for signal. Your aerial installer should have warned you that regardless of what aerial he fitted there was the distinct possibility that reception would still break up.
Hopefully, after the digital switchover, your reception will improve.
