Many thanks to whoever managed to get the attention of the website owner to correct the error that was stopping the Moel-Y-Parc Freeview info from appearing.
Regards, Ray..

john jones: With reference Moel y parc above, neighbours receive BBC alright so it must be my installation. But why is only Muxes 45 and 48 affected and 39 & 50 from Moel and all Winter Hill OK?
Back to the drawing board!!!

phil walpole: It's either Moel-y-Parc or Winter Hill at your location. If neither are possible then the only way to receive extra HD services is via satellite (e.g. free-to-air Freesat).
If you reside in the block of flats then your hands may be tied by what the landlord wishes to do, not to mention the question of whether the nearby tall buildings might be in the way, which I suspect they may be.
Terrain plot to Winter Hill (click the link below to view a map with a line between the two points):
Terrain between ( m a.g.l.) and (antenna m a.g.l.) - Optimising UK DTT Freeview and Radio aerial location
The terrain up to about a mile out and objects on it might be in the way. For one, the hospital would appear to be in the way for all properties on Trowbridge Street.
If you're in one of the houses then you may well have free reign on your aerial but no doubt you're even more restricted due to less height.

The signal from the Welsh transmitter is some times available during good weather but as you say buildings do play their part, getting in the way.
The Stourton transmatter is designed to serve Liverpool, which it does very well
But i suppose we are in the minority and you cant expect the people in digital uk to do their job properly.
Thanks for your reply.
Let's hope the people concerned can scrape a few pence together to upgrade storeton.
Cheers Phil Walpole
