Selwyn Stephens: The Mynydd Machen transmitter has been off air multiple times over the last few days due to a fault. Arqiva who operate the transmitter never release details, but it's likely to be related to the recent storms. The channels you mention are all part of Freeview, there have been no analogue TV transmissions in the UK since 2012.

Selwyn Stephens:

The transmitter should be back on air according to BBC reports.
If you retuned your TV whilst you had no signal it will most likely have cleared the correct tuning! You cannot tune to signals that are not there.
If you did that and still have no signal then retune again which should return your channels.
In future, don't retune if you lose signal due to faults or power cuts etc, just be patient until the signals return when whatever fault is fixed.
If you still have no signals after retuning, post back with more detail about what you've done, which model of TV, whether you've check your aerial looking intact and still pointing correctly.
