Recently started having very poor reception on BBC A (Channel 44) from Redruth - Quality 1/5, conversely D3&4 (Channel 41) is good quality 5/5. Why good reception on some channels but not others from same transmitter?
Postcode TR4 8DJ, aerial is in the loft/roof space - online guidance initially suggested we should get reception from Porthtowan relay but large hill in direct line-of-sight so no signal whatsoever on Channels 27 / 24 / 21 - hence using Redruth transmitter.

Our TVs are all indicating weak or low signal on all Channels since yesterday (16th) morning.
We are in Constantine and our aerial receives from Redruth.
Can you say if this could be due to a fault at your end please?
Regards
D. Thomson

David Thomson: There is currently a notice of possible weak signal from Redruth due to engineering work. Do not attempt to retune, signal levels will return to normal when the work is completed.
