thanks for this, I thought that might be the case, but where should I look for this online? When I Google it I get this web site as the top option but I can't find any problems reported for this afternoon so I must be looking in the wrong place.

Geoff Frewer: The problem should have cleared now, can you please try this My Freeview box has no EPG, is blank on FIVE, ITV3, ITV4, ITV2+1, has no sound or the channel line up is wrong | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice ?

Good morning, Brian, many thanks for your pointer which I have carried out. I can now tell you that ITV1/CH4 and 5, Sky3 are excellent with 100% signal strength. BBC1/2/3 and BBC24 plus Sky News are still breaking up and the signal strength is wildly varying from 100% to zero - picture blanks out. Is there any chance the height of the aerial has been lowered - a daft question, but it would affect me. Many thanks, Geoff

Geoff Frewer: No, no changes can be made to the transmitter! If you are having problems still I would report them via the BBC tool, the official way to report all problems, see the Broadcaster complaints details | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice page.
Also you can check the Single frequency interference | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice just in case it is a problem "at your end".
