I am having no signals or reception on all BBC Digital Channels and no Sky News on digital from the Reigate transmitter.
I was getting interference and break up on these channels so went through the procedure that you outlined and even put the tv's back to factory settings to wipe all the memory.
Then retuned the sets and all BBC and Sky News plus a few minor ones are now missing. Retuning has not resolved the issues
The problem has been ongoing for several months with weak signal messages and interference with picture break up

A Naran:
The transmitter is not currently listed for Planned Engineering and there doesn't seem to be any faults listed by the BBC.
Sky News is on a different multiplex (groups of channels) from the BBCA multiplex.
See Channel listings for Industry Professionals | Freeview for which channels are carried on which multiplexes.
The description of your problem suggests a fault on your installation.
You mention "sets" - do you have a distribution amp/splitter and where is it located? If you have one, check that it still has power and check the connections to it.
Other than that, check that your aerial seems intact and pointing in the correct direction with the rods (or squashed Xs) vertical (for Reigate) and that your downlead looks undamaged and isn't flapping in the wind.
Also check all you coax plugs, connections, flyleads etc, unplug connectors check for corrosion or other problems and reconnect them. Flyleads can be a common problem, try swapping them.
See what signal strengths (if any) and quality you are getting for the multiplexes shown in your TV's tuning section, this might indicate potential issues with your aerial or downlead.
If you post the figures for each it may give us a clue.
Aerial misalignments, problematic connections, water ingress etc. can seem to affect reception of just AN individual or several multiplexes.
If you've altered anything around in your installation since the problem started, check that you don't have any HDMI leads close to any aerial or flyleads, especially if the aerial and flyleads aren't high quality double screened types. HDMI is known to sometimes cause interference.
