I live in and have a high- ariel directed NW at . Unfortunately (as well as receiving DVB transmissions from Ridge Hill on , , , , , , , and ) transmissions from the much further away Wrekin on and can be decoded which throws the channel allocation in my TV - i.e. weaker Wrekin-sourced versions of are given preference over stronger Ridge Hill multiplexer-transmissions of the same channels.

So I no longer retune the TV using automatic and have resorted to nominating individual channels (not including C23 and C26) when retuning the set.

Are there plans to overcome this undesirable transmission competition from weaker further-away transmitters?

The EPG on my Sony RDR-HX970 recorder has lost all BBC in the past few days. All other channels are showing normally, and the EPGs are fully poopulated on two (Panasonic) TVs connected to the same - one of which gets its via a pass-through socket on the recorder. And yes, I've cleared and re-scanned the tuning.

Any ideas, anybody?
