After switchover yesterday 6 April, and subsequent re-tune (repeated several times), BBC1, 2 and 3 became unavailable through weak signal (indicated as <20%) and very poor quality. Other main channels OK, although ITV3 remained poor.
Previously, BBC1, 2 and 3 all good. BBC4 and other ITV channels remain good.
Aerial is on roof.

We have had perfect signals on our tvs up to switchover. Now, we cannot get any BBC channels properly. Sometimes they are good but most of the time break up or have nothing at all. Why is this. Surely the digital signal is stronger now.

Remember only the BBC has changed on the 6th, the other digital MUX's don't change until the 20th.
I also noticed the power did not ramp up until just before the official 6am turn on time, even tho the signal had been back on for some time.
I re-tuned after 6am just in case my box had picked up a weaker BBC MUX signal from some other transmitter while it was on lower power, so that is also worth a try.
For me and I am some distance away (Dudley) I get full strength and signal quality on all my Freeview enabled devices.

Sue Lewis: The increase in power could be causing your problem. Amplifiers and tuners have a limit on the signal levels they can handle. If you have a booster, try removing it.
