John Pollock:
Which specific channels are you having problems with? There doesn't appear to be any reports of any transmitter problems from Freeview or the BBC.
Have you introduced or changed any equipment recently, especially anything with HDMI cables? Make sure any HDMI cables are not near aerial cables or flyleads especially if the latter are not high quality double screened as HDMI can cause some interference.
Has the aerial been disturbed, it should be pointing roughly at a bearing of 150 degrees (nearly SSE) with the rods horizontal. Any metal objects, scaffolding or structural changes occurred?
Check you are tuned to the correct UHF channels for Ridge Hill and not inadvertently tuned to weaker signals from another transmitter.
Check in your TV's tuning section which UHF channels it's tuning to, they should be
C28, C25, C22, C21, C24, C27, C55 for multiplexes BBCA/PSBs1, D3&4/PSB2, BBCB HD/PSB3, SDN/COM4, ArqA/COM5, ArqB/COM6, COM7.
See Channel listings for Industry Professionals | Freeview for which channels are on which multiplex.
