It's happened again. This time I pulled out the mains ariel and went to plug in a very strong indorr ariel, but when I pulled the ariel out the picture and sound stayed the same. I then plugged in the psare indoor ariel and it didnt change at all. Am pretty sure its the trasnmitter or I would have had a variation when I pulled the mains ariel out...and then when I plugged the indoor one in. It is the picture and sound that is breaking up. the picture has lines in it and the sound breaks up. It was fine until 8.30ish tonight. No one changed anything or turned anything on in the house.

J Macfie: The Glen Urquhart transmitter (SD and HD) is listed as being off air from 13.18 today, no reason given, although judging by what you have said it might be due to a power supply failure.

Same problem this morning - seems to be low power? Other 10 kW muxes are fine.

Also, CHs 800 - 824 have appeared in the EPG, but no names or event information.
I remember, on a couple of occasions previously, some Norwegian channels appeared in the EPG (during prolonged High Pressure) - don't know if this has anything to do with the problem at the moment?

For the second time this week BBC1 and HD suddenly drop signal to poor quality or no signal at All! No servicing being done. Started exactly 1700.
