When checked Tuesday evening at ~1925 my main box (a Humax) was again displaying the MUX2 channnels, but not the Panasonic box
Same situation a few mins ago
Last time my set-up was disconnected/reconnected was October, so the "single frequency interference" can't be related to a change at my end

Allan McKellar: There is still "TV (digital) Liable to interruption" listed for this week by Digital UK.

Brian, sorry for the delay in replying. Before I could run through all your checks, Analogue and Digital reception returned to normal around 16:00 yesterday.
Can only assume it was related to the engineering works, but thank you for your time here and efforts to help.

Our freeview returned yesterday evening as well.
Had tried several full rescans, and checked the aerial and all connections, but it just returned of it's own accord.
