Why have we had no or only intermittant signals for the last 4 days?
There seems to be nothing on the news or media to explain this.
At this moment there is no signal again.

vic: The most likley reason is there is something wrong "at your end".
As you point out, with the Rowridge transmitter serving 620,000 homes, if there was a transmitter problem, other people would have noticed by now.
I would start by looking at
Freeview reception has changed? | ukfree.tv - helping the UK with free TV reception since 2002 .

Cheers
But the fact that 3 seperate televisions on three seperate arials all failed at the same time would point out the faults not at my end.
Needless to say 30 minutes after my email all came back again.

SO42 7SX - ARIEL IN LOFT.
Hello,
The 2 tv's that we have running on free view, have over the last 3 / 4 days appeared to be affected by what i can only think is the cold weather. We have always been affected by the wind, more so on itv but with the cold weather we have lost all sound and picture on all channels from about 6pm through to about 1pm the next day.
Is this a common thing with cold weather ???
I am going to try to turn the ariel so the fins are in a vertical position as at the moment they are horizontal and i understand that the vertical might be better. Please correct me if i am wrong about this.
Being reasonably close to the transmitter i find it hard to believe we get such rubbish reception.
If i can't get any joy from this i think i might have to go down the route of getting a video sender to transfer the sky signal from the main tv.
Any advice would be appreciated.
