John blake: You cant tune out 'interference'.
Its could be too high or low signal strength, or a loose connection. However, if its a regular problem, its most likely to be single source interference, which you can look up on this site.

I cannot get channel 95 in my area, my postcode is PO5 4JN, I believe that my local transmitter is Rowridge on the Isle of Wight.
I have re-tuned until suicide seemed a viable option. As far as I can make out, I SHOULD be able to receive channel 95, but can't for whatever reason, can you please advise?
It looks like it should have been available in this area as from September 2017.

Alan Womack: Firstly, you need a Freeview HD capable receiver. If you receive 101 BBC ONE HD, then you may be able to receive 095 FreeSports.
Looking at the digitaluk trade link below your question, there are two possible results from Rowridge.
Your 'Most Likely Transmitter' is Rowridge, horizontally polarised, which includes the COM8 Multiplex, which carries FreeSports.
Next in line is 'Alternative Transmitter', Rowridge VP, which is vertically polarised and does not transmit COM8.
If your aerial is mounted with its elements parallel to the ground (horizontal) you should be able to receive FreeSports; otherwise, probably not
Try a manual scan of UHF channel 37.
