You have looked at a page which unfortunately is out of date. The Freeview site doesn't seem to be that clever with keeping some pages like that up-to-date. See Digital UK | Channel listings for what is generally an up-to-date list of channels and on which multiplex.
As it's on the COM8 (HD) multiplex you need an HD (T2) tuner to get it.
Also put your postcode into Digital UK - Coverage checker to see predicted reception at your location to make sure you can receive the signal ok.

My Samsung series 5 is HD T2 (DVB-T2) and reception, here at about 25m above sea level with a clear view towards Rowridge at Worthing, is excellent on other HD channels.
As FreeSport is a new channel I can understand there is some confusion whether the broadcast channel is 64 or not, and the same applying to the multiplex channel Com 8, C37 or C59. However it doesn't matter how much retuning I do I can't find this channel is it live yet?

I have lost the signal for quite a few HD channels, Smithsonia, and even Drama is interrupted every night. I have a Sony Brava Free view. It is worrying. What can I do. It happened before. In 2012 I had to buy a brand new TV, the old one was also a Sony, but I had a box.

There shouldn't be any confusion if you click on those links in my last message for you. You need to check the predicted reception at your location. Freesport has been at LCN64 since Nov.2018 (it started at LCN95 in Nov.2017), so yes it's up and running and COMs 7&8 are transmitting from Rowridge.
The issue you MAY have is that COMs 7&8 are only temporary multiplexes and are now SFNs (Single Frequency Networks) on C58 & C59 at all transmitters that transmit these two, which means that in some locations more on the periphery of the coverage area may get too much interference from another transmitter. Are you getting COM 7 or 8 at all? If you are getting the muxes, I'd suggest a full reset/retune by unplugging your aerial, do an automatic tune - this will clear all previous tuning, then plug the aerial back in and do a manual tune for the UHF channels used by the Rowridge Horizontal polarisation transmissions. You do need a wideband aerial to get all the multiplexes.

The Digital UK | Channel listings shows that Drama is on the SDN multiplex which is transmitted at a lower power than the main PSB multiplexes, and similarly the COMs 7&8 multiplexes that carry the HD channels and Smithsonia that you mention. As other transmitters around the country change UHF channels as part of the 700Mhz clearance, it can mean that interference affects reception at other locations.

I just so happen to have a Group C/D aerial and connected that up this pm. Did a full rescan with no Ae connected and confirmed no channels were stored. A manual retune only on C56 still shows no signal strength.
I guess with an output of only 18.4kW Worthing is a bit of a push although in saying that some of the French stations I receive are less than that.
Thanks for all your help I think I'll give up for now and wait and see if FreeSports gets moved onto a Mux with more power.

Oh well, if you've used a C/D aerial to check (I assume it was one of the high gain ones - generally higher gain than a lot of widebands at UHF55&56) looks like you're out of luck, especially as there's zero to next to no lift (tropospheric propagation) on at present to increase potential interference.

I am unable to get channel 91 (and 50). I am told my aerial is set vertical to get a stronger signal. If I had the aerial set horizontal I would need a 160 wide band aerial but those in charge of such things as aerials might change the frequencies anyway further down the line and then I would need to switch back.
It was suggested that most persons now do not need a wide band aerial but to get this and perhaps other freeview channels, I do.
So can these frequencies be changed so that I do not need to have a wide band aerial and be able to receive all the freeview channels?

Although your post code or town etc where you live would be helpful to check reception from the list above it looks as though Ch 91 is on COM8. From my experience above COM8 has limited coverage due to low power output and while a wide band Ae might work a dedicated Group C/D would be better.
As for Channel 50. From a quick look above it seems not to be listed however if you find it note the COM number, your post code and I'll try and help some more.
