In Thurso postcode KW14 7JD. Had no signal since yesterday (Wednesday afternoon i.e. when the weather deteriorated) we have a digital aerial, signal booster in house and a freeview digital TV. Until that point we had pretty much perfect signal on all channels and nothing has changed in the vicinity of the TV to cause any interference.

Sarah Crowe: As neither of the two transmitter fault reporting websites are indicating any problems in your area, then have you as yet checked with any neighbours to determine if they also are having problems with reception?

If not, then you should check to ensure that your booster amplifier has not been switched off, and if at all possible try by-passing it just in case its developed a fault.

Further advice dependant on reply.

Hello, up until a month ago we got a good reception on channel 62 ( ITV4 etc) but now it has started to break up and get a 'no signal' message, will there be a retune to channel 55? Post code KW147SS - Bettyhill

Magnus Mackay: I think you're lucky to receive anything from Rumster Forest, so perhaps reception may be hit and miss.

C62 is due to move to C55 a week on Wednesday (24th April).
