Aerial on roof pointing (I think, not being a geographer) towards the Salisbury antenna which is about 3 miles away.
Has there been any change on the Salisbury Freeview transmitter on channel 60? Until about 2 weeks ago it was fine, but now is almost unusable with a very poor signal. I've tried changing aerial cables with no effect. I have 2 devices daisy-chained - a PVR and the TV, and I have a nasty feeling that the PVR's giving up the ghost. But even with it out of the chain the signal's not good.

Peter Toye: Hi, Peter. There haven't been any changes to the multiplex on channel 60 at the Salisbury transmitter. Are you sure you didn't do a retune when we were experiencing atmospheric problems last week? If you did, then you probably need to do another retune now, now that everything has returned to normal under low atmospheric pressure conditions? If I were you, I would take the PVR out of the equation temporarily, unless you are relying on it for providing the signal to your tv (as I am!). Assuming your tv has an in-built digital tv tuner, try a re-tune on it first, to ensure you can watch live Freeview tv, then worry about the PVR later, once you've sorted the tv out. Hi, my post code is SP1 1LH.
Since yesterday (16 June 2016) I have lost the HD channels on my You view freeview recorder. When I say "lost" I mean that the picture of the HD channels is stuttering and there is no sound. All the other SD channels work fine. I have reset the box and re-tune but nothing works.
A neighbour has the same issue.
Has anything changed or any work going on?

Simon: Hi, Simon. There are no faults on or engineering works on the Salisbury transmitter at the moment. Recent works on the site have been for digital radio, not for Freeview TV. Are you sharing your aerial with anyone? Sounds like you need to check your installation even if your neighbour is having problems, bearing in mind no transmitter faults have been reported and no engineering work is going on. The HD multiplex (group of channels) from Salisbury is transmitted at the full power of 2000 watts using the full transmitter aerial height of 153 metres (about 500 feet). Have you thought about looking in your 'Youview' manual to see if there is a troubleshooting guide that you could work through? Hope this helps, Richard, Norwich.

Hello we've also suddenly have very bad HD free view channel reception. It was absolutely perfect until Tuesday and now it's choppy and the audio is out of sync. Surely this is related? To the above comment. We actually thought it might be our to as we have a new one but we went and changed it today and still have the same problem.
