As of today 29/5/13 I have no freeview signal apart from some channels in the 800+ range. I also have no digital radio reception. Yesterday all was fine. I live in Market Harborough, LE16 7LQ and normally receive Anglia TV & BBC East from Cambridge/Sandy Heath transmissions. Has any one any idea why this is happening? All my equipment and connection checked ok. Thanks for any help I might get.

I have Freeview Signal Quality problem, but only on channel 21 (the HD channel).
It varies & regularly losses picture
I have tried 2 freeview boxes & they both have the same problem.
All higher frequency channels are o.k., with good quality.
I use a high gain loft aerial.
I have tried a signal booster, but is no better
Any ideas?

Trevor Stockdale: have you checked the signal strength? HD signals are often the first to be hit if the signal strength is too high. Ideally, you should be around 75%, although up to 85% might be fine. If it is too high, then follow the advice below:

A lot of people have had problems of this sort following the recent retunes, and obvuously the first step should be to remove any boosters to see if it makes a difference. (PE12QN)

I am in Ware Herts. Last few days our freeview BBC1 signal has been breaking up. We currnetly have high pressure and very hot weather conditions. Could this be the cause or have you reduced power for maintenance?

Chris Sweeney: same here in weybridge, surrey. we only had a new rooftop aerial installed a few weeks ago and bought a pvr so we could get freeview and its been working fine until a couple of days ago. now picture comes on for a few seconds then goes off and we get the weak signal message. have tried retuning and there seem to be no maintenance issues or problems with the local transmitters. are we going to have this every time we get some warm weather??
