Owen:
Hi. The change for C51 to C33 was Feb.12th this year. COM7 is unlikely to be going anywhere just yet, I assume you saw the post just before your first one.
It would depend on the gain of the Group W that you have (and your predicted reception - need a full postcode for that) as to why you aren't getting much luck with C48 or C55. Similar could apply to a Group T but it's gain may tail off enough at C55 to be a pain and there are supposedly only a couple of makes of K groups that do quite well at C55 but really you need to look at the gain curves for any aerial you contemplate.
If you are installing your own then experimenting is a bit easier. Make sure you have a good quality downlead (double screened).
Right at the end of my previous post, there was a link to the Channel listings. Sometimes the software running this site makes a hash of it and you have to manually "re-assemble" it.

Derek Bampkin: There is no channel 289 on Freeview. Which channel or radio station have you lost?

Why do I get Meridian TV news in HD (103) when I live near Luton. I believe Meridian is miles away in Canterbury, is this just another example of British organisation?

Paul:
Meridian isn't "in" Canterbury. The Meridian region covers the S and SE, BUT because there is a limited number of ITV HD regions (distributed separately from the SD versions), Meridian is also fed to Anglia.
ITV HD Anglia East region is only currently available to Satellite viewers. There is no Anglia West HD region at all.
ITV HD London is only available in London cable network areas.

when will sony [channel 48] be available from the sandy heath transmitter

Brian: You would have to ask Sony, it was their decision to move some of their channels to the local TV multiplex last year (only available in areas where there is a local TV station on Freeview channel 7 or 8). Some Sandy Heath viewers (in Cambridge and some surrounding areas) can get the local mux from the Madeingly transmitter on the edge of the city.

We have retuned the tv after the channels changed last week . Why are we still getting a retune message on screen.

StevensOnln13:15 PM
Mr peachey: Some broadcasters still appear to be showing the retune message, perhaps on the basis that not all viewers will have retuned yet. You can simply ignore the message if you have already retuned.

Quite a few people are encountering these nag screens which seem to be popping up on the channels on the ArqA & ArqB multiplexes (but not SDN) between LCNs 25-55.
