Nick Peel: Are you also missing channel 15(Film4) and channel 24(ITV4)? If so the problem is lack of MuxD due to interference or weak signal on C55. If it is only the "Yesterday" channel that is missing does it appear in the 800s? If it does it needs a factory reset to clear the channel list of old data before scanning for channels. If MuxD is missing what is your postcode? - so a check can be made of predicted reception at your location.

Ollie: There is a "preview" HD service transmitted from the Lichfield transmitter on C34. However, you may find the signal levels too low to use at your location.

@Briantist - Thanks for the reply. I was on my roof for 2 hours yesterday trying to find the Lichfield transmitter and had No Luck :( Guess i will have to wait until Sept. I have 90% signal 100% Quality using the SC transmitter. I used the postcode checker & it says HD was Available in my area. I go out & buy a HD freeview box & Aerial and was left guttered to find no HD.

I've lost all channels from Mux 2 & A in the last few days (Sutton Coldfield from LE8). Previously I could pick up all freeview channels, most of them with an excellent signal quality. I notice that the power level & rating listed on this site are stated as 'low'. Does anybody know if this has always been the case or have the levels dropped for some reason?

Recurring ITV4 Problems - We have suffered from poor reception regarding the digital transmission of the ITV4, via Freeview, 7-8pm on 3 consecutive evenings: Saturday, Sunday and tonight (16-18 July 2011)

Saturday night's programme was recorded and was virtually unwatchable due to frequent picture/digital break-up. The recorder was fully re-scanned for Sunday's recording, which appeared to bring some improvement, but the interuptions and picture break-up were still unacceptably intrusive.

Checking again around 7:25 pm on the TV (not the recorder) and the picture was hopeless (BBC1/ITV1 were fine). After rescanning all of the channels on the TV and ITV4 could not be found.

Ollie: Yes, it would seem you are going to have to wait for two months to get Freeview HD.
