Since Saturday 9th Jul we have been experiencing no Digital service from Tacolneston except for Parliament, CBBC?, BBC4 and BBC Radio 1 to 4 during the mornings, approx 6:30 to 10:30.
There is meant to be no service affecting works anyone else having these outages?

This past year have been receiving all digital channels on a amplified log 40 (periodic)with very good results at 30'height with just occaisional freezes. Annalogue a little grainy. Well pleased with this. Don't anticipate any probs with switchover.

Hi,
First I'd just like to say what a great site this is - I've learned stacks and this will be my first port of call for any problems in the future...
Right, brown-nosing over: we're on the Tacolneston transmitter, but only just (with a booster aerial and signal amplifier). The signal strength on the multiplex with ITV and C4 seems to have dropped markedly over the past few days. Any idea why or what I can do? You report engineering work, but not on the digital side. I've just updated the software on my Humax box, but have reset channels and so on, so I'm sure there's nothing I've done wrong there. Could the software upgrade reduce signal quality? Any ideas gratefully received....
Also - can I assume that the signal will improve a lot after the switchover in November?
Thanks very much,
Gavin
