I'm in Norwich too and having real issues with ITV & Channel 4. Does anyone know when the works are due to be finished and we can expect a normal service?

Prior to the switch over to full digital we received reasonable signals and on the odd occasions that a signal was not good we could always get an analog signal. Since the switch over our signal during bad weather has deteriorated and over the last few weeks it is doubtful if we get a signal for the main channels (BBC/ITV1&2/CN4&5). We never seem to have any problems getting the junk channels and can usually get Sky News, RT and Al Jazera News programs. Tonight is typical, no BBC or ITV etc. its raining!!
There are never any problems in good weather conditions and they are usually OK during the daytime. PLEASE fix the problem, I am fed up with having to connect the computer to the TV every evening.

I live 4 miles from Tacolneston and on the 5th between 6.30pm and 8pm I have lost all signal on my freeview TV sets. I have tried resetting them and re-tuning but with no luck. My aerial is in the loft but being this close to the transmitter I have pretty much always had 100% quality and signal. One of my televisions is picking up channels but only with a strength of around 15% so cuts in and out. I was wondering if this weeks works at Tacolneston could have done this or is just coincidence and I need to get my aerial looked at?

Do you or anyone else know when the engineering works at Tacolneston are likely to be completed.

We are totally frustrated at having been denied virtually all channels for most of the time during the last few months and are seriously considering replacing our Samsung LE32A457 television in our bedroom with a Panasonic Viera TX-L42E5B and then transferring the Samsung TV into the lounge to replace our really ancient and bulky Phillips CRT television used for watching non premium SKY channels on an inherited box. Is there a particular Panasonic TV that has a more robust inbuilt tuner? If there is little likelihood of getting watchable television with this or any other Panasonic TV we will just have to wait patiently until the maintenance works have been completed whenever that may be.

Also do you know what steps are going to be taken to prevent the forthcoming 4G mobile signals from causing problems with our TV bandwidth especially as we can't even get a 3G signal at our home or in many other local areas.

Oddly enough our signal problem went away after a few days and as of about half 9 tonight it is back. 4 miles from transmitter and nothing. What on earth could be causing this?

Anyone know what's happened to Com5 ArqA from Tacolneston tonight. All the channels on this Mux report zero signal. All the other Muxes are fine

Thanks Mike, The Mux seems OK now. It must have been a temporary glitch
