Hi, I listen to some radio stations which on the 18th April 2016 are changing channels to use the11A block, which the Wrekin does not support. Yes, when at home I could use the internet, but I bought 2 DAB car radios especially to listen to my particular radio stations. so the question is when is the Wrekin going to catch up with the technology available.
Cheers

Following the June 1st changes we find the following
- we have an amplifier as we are on the edge of the signal area. The signal strength was 40% and the signal quality 2%, our sagemcom box could not cope at all.
- removing the amplifier raises signal quality to over 90% but signal strength is below 20%. Sagemcom box now working (!), not sure how.
would be very interested to know what you actually did! Have to say that these changes were not well publicised - this afternoon's job is to go and retune a relative's TV and recorder box as she's lost all BBC channels.
thanks.

Helen this website is nothing to do with the transmitting people; it just gives information.
One of the peculiarities of digital signalling is that if the strength is too strong it will stop working.
So if the strength where you are increased it is quite possible that it was too strong amplified and Goldilocks unamplified.
