Have also noticed in the last few days that C42 is breaking up. Box is measuring it as the strongest signal of all the muxes but only just and don't think it is too strong. Tried an attenuator to reduce the signal strength anyway but it hasn't improved. Anyone know what's going on?

Mark: What is the signal quality indicated on C42 and how does this compare with the other muxes? It is possible that you are receiving a low level signal from Hannington on C42 which is interfering with your normal reception.

Ch 42 does seem to have an intermittent transmission fault causing unwatchable pictures ,signal and quality remain good.its fine at the moment 22.15 sat ,but was unwatchable this morning from 10.30 on my set and another at a friends house

C42 does seem to be ok now. Hoping it is just some engineering work as we haven't had any problems with interference or weather conditions since Switchover and really don't want that situation to change. Our nearest transmitter is actually Reigate but when we were using that one the tv was unwatchable in the evenings for some reason, so it was a relief that TW worked so well. Our signal strength/quality is C41 - 79/100, C42 - 85/99, C44 - 78/99, C49 - 75/99, C52 - 70/97

Mark: The A22 may be in the signal path to Reigate Hill which might explain the poor reception if it coincided with periods of heavy traffic.

kieran: We live in Hildenborough and to be honest since the digital switch over our reception has gone from good to poor/average. But in the last two weeks we have lost a lot of channels - can you tell me what is going on. The problem is even worse at my mums house she gets problems with many channels and has approx. 52 - 54 of the 80 channels available - she has a brand new wideband ariel and a booster what can be done to improve this???? When she moved in to her house a month ago she had all channels. Please help!! We have nearly all channels but the show as broken picture ( we also have a newish ariel and previously had no probs) our postcode is TN11 9LR Thanks for your help

Oxted has always been a problem area due to the hills the town is built on. (I worked for Radio Rental in the area and had many instances of reception problems to contend with.) Some can get reasonable reception from Reigate or Heathfield, but not both. A lot depends on exactly where in the town you are located, nearest is not necessarily the best. So an accurate post code is need, but one that is only nearby might not help due to the steep hills.

MUX 42 on Tunbridge Wells pixellating badly on all Channels but unwatchable on Channel 20 - UKTVs Drama.
All other MUXs seem OK
No problems shown above - is it a fault or "atmospherics"
Anyone else experiencing this?

No idea what a MUX42 is Trevor, but there have been problems with several Freeview channels since last Saturday. Started at 9pm on Channel 20 & was totally unwatchable. Sunday I tried to watch Channel 5+1 & also unwatchable. So I scrolled through the channels from 1 - 50 & found all these were unwatchable - 10, 20, 27, 30, 31, 38, 39, 44 & 49. The pixellation & tweeks are a pain. Previously had no problems since installation . My postcode is TN2 3UH & according to the Freeview site there are no problems or re-tune needed. Cannot ask the neighbours as they all have Sky. Any ideas?
