Hi, I was wondering if there is work going on at winter bill during the night? The reason I ask this question is because I don't sleep much during the night and I put my television on but more often than not i get the message , it mostly happens between 2am to 5am. Thank you.

Valerie Williams: work very rarely takes place overnight as the engineers cannot see what they are doing in the dark. A more likely explanation is that you're getting local electrical from something operating overnight (probably on a timer).

StevensOnln1: Sorry for the tardy response. Post code here is WA13 and house is in direct sight of so we were away at the weekend and all preset recordings have failed with total breakup of on 7th 8th and 9th Dec but tonight they all work perfectly as I write this. Finally the cables have not been touched whilst we were away.

Bob McCulloch: The first half of your postcode covers a wide area, we need a full postcode (or one from a shop/pub/garage etc nearby) to get a result from the coverage checker. Did you actually check the cables by unplugging and reinserting them?

I suggest that as the work this week lists the effect as "Possible weak " then this could well persist overnight.
It could be work on the transmitters themselves rather than the system but that also might depend on the precise nature of any aerial work.
