UKTV's Drama to be on Freeview 20
Drama, the new channel from UKTV (see New channel coming to Freeview - Drama from 8 July) will cause a few number changes for Freeview homes.
If you use Top Up TV, you will find that Home will move to channel 54, and GOLD will shift up six places to 26.
This means there will be room for the new Drama channel at number 20 (contrary to expectations that it would displace Dave Ja Vu at 25).
UKTV's other channels Dave at 12, Really at 17 and Yesterday at 19 do not change.

Pauline Tweddell: Drama (EPG20) is broadcast on the same transmitter as ITV3 (EPG10) and with the Bilsdale transmitter transmitter covering the Northallerton area, this station being located at approximately 12 miles away on a bearing of 82 degrees.
If ITV3 can be received but not Drama then carry out a "first time installation" on the TV rather than a normal auto-tune, this also known as "factory reset" or similar.

Today I retuned my You View box and Smart TV as requested and have now found that most of my UKTV ( especially Drama) are no longer available. Can you advise on how I can now obtain these channels. Thankyou

John Grainger: Do a manual scan of the UHF channel (frequency) of the COM4 (SDN) multiplex, on which Drama is carried, this being that of your designated transmitter. If manual tuning isn't available then your only option is automatic tuning.
Knowledge of the transmitter or your location (preferably in the form of postcode or that of a nearby property such as a shop) should allow us to determine the channel number.
