We would be grateful for any advice please. We are at TR19 7NE. We often lose all BBC channels during wet weather. Strangely though not all TVs in the house are always affected at the same time - sometimes one TV is working fine when the other has lost all BBC channels and vice versa. Both TVs are connected to the same aerial and we have tried retuning the digiboxes on numerous occasions to no effect.

Liz: The usual reason for loss of channels during rain is that water is getting into the aerial cables outside.
This can be fixed by replacing the cables with new ones - the best to use is satellite-grade coaxial cable.

Can you help? We live in TR19 7DP and have a humix pvr9300t all itv channels and c4 have gone.
I've tried wiping channels turning off and then searching.
As far as I can understand we are getting signal from the St just relay of the Redruth transmitter.
I've tried manually scanning c50 but wasn't sure if the frequency was wrong (706000) no channels though.
If I scan 56 it finds bbc channels or left to it's own devices (i think) it seems to default to C21.
Any advice

We live at TR20 8QD which is close to the St. Just relay but our aerial (bought as a performance model when Freeview was imminent and is loft mounted) is pointing at Redruth. The last 2 days of high pressure means no channels for much of the day. Mounting aerial on the roof in Penwith is not something I would choose but would aligning with the relay be a better idea? Or maybe have 2 aerials one to each source ?

ashley ludgate: If you could mount the aerial to point at Redruth from the roof, rather than loft, you should get an uninterrupted service.
