Briantist: I believe today is the 75th anniversary of the start of regular BBC television broadcasting. 2nd November 1936.

Bob Loader: With a prediction of 100% chance of reliable reception, chances are that you have too much signal. See Freeview signals: too much of a good thing is bad for you | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice .
Another possibility is that your box has decided to tune in the signals from The Wrekin, which also have a predicted 100% chance across the board, as they are on lower frequencies. See Digital Region Overlap for how to resolve this issue.

The plaque on Alexandra Palace says it was the 2nd November 1936. I love the way they describe it as "the first high definition television" broadcasts, not quite the same as 1080p!

Peter: When 625-line television was introduced (ok, it's really 576i25) that too was called "high definition".

Briantist: E4 HD is currently FTA on Astra 2B, 12324, V, DVB-S2, QPSK, 29500, 3/4. It is shown as 3843. I assume it will not be long before the channel is encrypted.

NottsUK: I guess so, it is probably being shuffled from 11856 V. I think we might expect to see E4 HD (and I guess Film 4 HD) on Freesat soon though.

hi we got sky box+ lately it start loosing channels some of them are supose to be free some of them subscribed with our pack i called sky and they check my system and all seams to be fine of course they offer someone to come but that will cost us quiet a bit was wondering if u could help we follow steps for method one so far the channels affected are like dmax dmax+1 some music channels was meant to be free pop kids channel what is free as well thank you in advance for any help also do u think that can do anything with how dish is placed ??
