To answer your question we need to know where you live by giving a post code so we can check which transmitter you might be using and whether you are within the reception patter for the local multiplex that might carry the service - not all transmitters carry it and not all areas served from any such can receive the signal.

Doug Ferguson: Sound Digital haven't announced any plans to expand their coverage and it seems doubtful that they will do any time soon. Their business model is based on providing national coverage at a much lower cost than Digital One, which they achieve by only have 45 transmitters which cover most major areas of population.

Doug Ferguson: Plug a Chromecast audio into the input of a radio, etc, and you can easily stream from your phone - ?20 at the moment. Or if the radio has bluetooth, just use that.

Thanks for this added feature.
Please note that now that High Hunsley is broadcasting the Humberside local mux (10D), the Licolnshire local mux (12A) and SDL National (11A) that the number of DAB/DAB+ stations that we can receive on the East Yorkshire Coast within the YO15/YO16 postcodes has increased to 58 stations.
The SDL National stations come at 75-90% signal strength and the two local muxes are 100% as rated on my Pure Evoke Flow within our home, apart from next to the metal lined chimney for the central heating boiler. Good reception also on our Roberts Play and on the JVC car radio.
