Hi, Camber Sands, near Rye Easat Sussex TN31 7RB. Pointing to Dover, freeview reception is rubbish. Had perfect Sky News but that completely disappeared a few days ago (despite retuning. Your maps seem to show that Blue Bell hill would be a better reception, but that is further away? What do you think?

Is STV+1 on Freesat yet, if so, what LC number?
(I'm using an AB10 postal code - STV is on LC 103)
I have STV+1 on 'Non-Freesat Channels' (Grundig SD STB), have I to delete this for STV+1 to appear on Freesat? *
Is this also why I can only receive the STV (North) version; no other version will appear on 'Non-Freesat Channels', though other versions of Ch4 do appear?
*[Granada+1, Meridian S+1, STV+1 (W) on 10906 V; I have not tried 10891 H]

Hi
My mother in worried about the digital switchover and as I dont know much about it can you tell me what she will need to do when this happens? I think she will just need to retune her TV. She has an HD tv now which we recently purchased for her with in built freeview channels but we have also connected a digi box with hard drive to it as she records such a load of drivel to watch also!

I have just moved into a new property and subscribed to Sky HD with Sky+ Multiroom. In all, there are 4 TV's in the house, 2 with Sky and 2 Freeview for the kids room. I called a local aerial company and asked them to put aerial points in each room so that everyone had freeview should anything happen to sky. However, I do not appear to be able to access the freeview on either of the new TV's. The aerial cable has been plugged into the back of the sky boxes. Is this correct or should they be directly into the TV? I'm confused so any help would be appreciated.

Sue: I would suggest you contact Toshiba or the shop you got the set from, your problem sounds very strange.
