published on UK Free TV

Ofcom, in a letter today, has given permission for another joint BBC-Arqiva sale.

Last time two slots were available in post-switchover areas on COM6 (Arqiva B) and these were joined with the BBC spare space on Multiplex B in pre-switchover areas to provide, as it turned out, Sky Sports 1 and 2 for BT Vision cutomers.

This time, the BBC will provide another pre-switchover slot on Multiplex B, to go with the post-switchover slot on COM5 (Arqiva A).

I would speculate about which free TV channel this might bring, but BT Vision may be keen for another slot.

It certainly would be nice to see something other than a pay channel or another "+1"...
