Sky News, PICK TV and Challenge TV on Freesat from Monday 3rd December
We reported back in June 2012, that Pick TV and Challenge were free-to-air on satellite (Freeview "exclusive" Pick TV and Challenge now free-to-air on satellite with +1s - ) but Freesat homes had to manually tune to them.
From Monday they will all be in the Freesat programme guide.
Yay!! We can announce that Pick TV will launch on Freesat this Monday!! Channel 144 :-)

ITV3 is on Freesat, contrary to the presence of its logo appearing on the list of those that aren't.
Dave, Yesterday and Quest are on Freeview but not Freesat. As you are able to receive them via Freeview, then you could just revert back to it for them. Retaining connection to your terrestrial aerial provides a backup for no cost.

Sky News and Challenge are definately on the Freesat EPG. You made need to do a first time switch on for your receiver.

I have the best of all worlds. Have an Icecrypt Freeview HD Box as the integrated tuner in my Bush TV is cr*p. Also have a Humax Freesat HD box. This can be switched between Freesat & non-Freesat so will pick up all the Sky FTA channels. Only drawback is no logical EPG and it is not possible, unless someone knows better, to pick up the FTV channels. Someone needs to produce a combined Freeview & Sky reciever, but I guess Sky would veto that.

Since the Channel 5 family moved Satellites/Transponders on 4th December it has not been possible to receive them in Portugal. Is this likely to be a permanent state of affairs? Will all Freesat stations be lost next year when they migrate to the new satellites?
