A "Quad LNB" to replace the "LNB" on your existing dish.
There are several ways to achieve this. One is to purchase a Sky+ box (currently from ÃÂ£89) as this comes with the Quad LNB; you can get a second box from Sky, or buy a new or second Digibox and get a Quad LNB from a local retailer or from Sky (Sky charges ÃÂ£99 for the box and ÃÂ£50 installation, and there are terms and conditions). (I understand that the "extra ÃÂ£10 per month" for having a Sky+ box will be withdrawn in October).
Many people use a professional installer to install the new LNB because it can be very difficult to do properly without the correct tools. See here for your local installers and shops:
i wired a second standard sky box into my tv upstairs connected to satelite dish, when i turn the power on i get the usual sky video playing and the sky menus but i can seem to get the free to air channels, im told you should be able to without a card in the box, have you any idea what i might be doing wrong ?
