What has happened to TCM?
They say that TCM has encrypted to bring it "in line with Turner's other entertainment channels". By this they mean their cartoon channels, Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Toonami.
They claim this will enable them to "deliver effective marketing".
And after over ten years being free-to-air, they say they now need "better control of our signal".
(details from 1997 - when it was called TNT).

leslierainer: New Freesat channels appear in the programme guide automatically, you don't need to do anything.
If you think you are missing a channel, power off the box and power it back on again.

does anyone know what sky is appealing about freeview channels 101 to 199 in the new epg supposed to be upgraded from 19-09-12? are they just being awkward ? will the appeal fail anyway and they are just being 'bloody-minded'?

Marjorie Stephens: Hi Marjorie. Could you tell us what station you get Rawhide on these days and also can you tell us how you get your tv service? Freeview through an aerial? Cable tv (if so, which company?) Sky TV or Freesat? Your rough location would help us too. Once you've given us this information we shall be able to investigate the reason that you missed Rawhide on Friday last. Richard, Norwich.

For the last few months when I set my Panasonic recorder to record BBC Look North on series record it now only records five programmes and then I have to reset it. Is it possible that a setting on the Freeview EPG has beeb changed, all of the other programmes I record are working normally some of them being set for over a year.
Can anyone offer any advice on the above problem.

Will we be able to receive Talking Pictures channel. I think it is 81 on the listings, but my tv won't retune and include it.
Their films are classics and it is a free to air channel, just not on Rowlege.
