Map of all DAB transmitters
You can click on a transmitter group symbol to see all the masts in that county or area, or click on a single transmitter to see the coverage area. Due to the large number of radio transmitters, many have been grouped into counties or administrative areas for ease of viewing.map is loading, please wait...
What do the map symbols mean?
DAB radio transmitter, DAB transmitter coming, Transmitter group.Sunday, 15 September 2013
Mike. The above map shows a new DAB transmitter opening in the future by Crawley station.
I think it's out by a few feet as it is placed in a back garden and not on top of the station tower block.

Mark A.: The Ofcom/Arqiva documents didn't have lat-long or national grid locations, so for new DAB transmitters , I had to:
1. See if there was an UHF transmitter;
2. Then see if there was a VHF transmitter;
3. See if there was a mobile phone mast
.matching the description. Those that still remain were copied as best I could from the blurry maps in the PDFs.

david: Local radio on DAB - you will get sometime in the next couple of years.
Local TV - you won't be getting that at all under the current plans.

Hello,
I have just purchased the Electrovision (electrovision.co.uk for more details) T143FH 5 Element DAB (Digital Radio) Outdoor Aerial and am unsure whether I need to mount it Horizontally with the elements obviously Horizontal across or Vertically with the elements Up/Down as there is nothing on the box or instructions as to what polarization signals are transmitted at and what polarization the aerial needs to be to receive the signals.
Please could anyone help and get back to me very soon to let me know?
Kind Regards.

No DAB transmitters in the West Highlands according to this map. Will FM continue?

George Buchanan: All the masts which transmit BBC FM services to the Western Highlands are planned to have DAB transmitters installed in the near future. Additional sites at Penifiler and Duncraig are also on the future DAB transmitter list.

KMJ,Derby: Thank you. The map shows nothing though. I hope DAB is better than the dire FM reception I get - I need to be at a window to get anything at all! The car radio is DAB with a mesmerising array of silent stations...
